This is where the archi\u00adtec\u00adture firm Laca\u00adton &amp; Vas\u00adsal with Druot comes in. The team had been work\u00ading on this ques\u00adtion for some time: How can spa\u00adtial trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtions be planned and imple\u00adment\u00aded so that they do not lead to occu\u00adpant dis\u00adplace\u00adment? The office\u2019s work illus\u00adtrates that alter\u00adna\u00adtives to demo\u00adli\u00adtion and new con\u00adstruc\u00adtion do exist. The company\u2019s for\u00admer gen\u00ader\u00adal man\u00adag\u00ader, Bernard Blanc, was able to pre\u00advent the demo\u00adli\u00adtion, among oth\u00ader things by argu\u00ading that the Cit\u00e9 du Grand Parc has been part of the UNESCO World Her\u00aditage Site of Bor\u00addeaux since 2007. Fol\u00adlow\u00ading an archi\u00adtec\u00adtur\u00adal com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adtion, the deci\u00adsion to retain the build\u00adings will mark the start of the ren\u00ado\u00adva\u00adtion work in 2011.
