Peo\u00adple move to oth\u00ader parts of Liv\u00ader\u00adpool; many of the Vic\u00adto\u00adri\u00adan row hous\u00ades fall into dis\u00adre\u00adpair. As a result, a group becomes active in the neigh\u00adbor\u00adhood. They clean up, plant flower beds, paint win\u00addows, and estab\u00adlish a mar\u00adket. A Com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty Land Trust is set up. The aim: to cre\u00adate afford\u00adable hous\u00ading that is owned by the peo\u00adple from the neigh\u00adbor\u00adhood. The group con\u00advinces the munic\u00adi\u00adpal\u00adi\u00adty not to demol\u00adish the hous\u00ades. Lat\u00ader, the archi\u00adtec\u00adture col\u00adlec\u00adtive Assem\u00adble comes on board and devel\u00adops a plan for the area.
