Here: the choir of the nurs\u00ading home in the Be\u017eani\u00adjs\u00adka Kosa dis\u00adtrict dur\u00ading a per\u00adfor\u00admance in the Uli\u010d\u00adna galer\u00adi\u00adja (street gallery). The gallery, which has exist\u00aded since 2012, occu\u00adpies a pub\u00adlic pas\u00adsage\u00adway in the cen\u00adter of Bel\u00adgrade for fleet\u00ading moments. The events that have tak\u00aden place-as many as 150 solo and group exhi\u00adbi\u00adtions and 80 oth\u00ader event-are intend\u00aded to pro\u00admote a forum for a crit\u00adi\u00adcal dis\u00adcourse on urban pol\u00adi\u00adcy issues out\u00adside of com\u00admer\u00adcial gal\u00adleries and muse\u00adums. \u00a9 Kamerades<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Even if Min\u00adistry of Space sounds quite offi\u00adcial, it is not a state-run min\u00adistry. Con\u00adcealed behind the name is a small group of activists com\u00admit\u00adted to social jus\u00adtice. Thus, the group fights for a city that ben\u00ade\u00adfits all those who live there. They fight against cor\u00adrupt prac\u00adtices, the mis\u00adap\u00adpro\u00adpri\u00ada\u00adtion of pub\u00adlic mon\u00adey, and\u2014as they argue\u2014abuses of pow\u00ader by polit\u00adi\u00adcal play\u00aders. In this way, the activists mon\u00adi\u00adtor, ana\u00adlyze, and crit\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly com\u00adment upon large-scale urban devel\u00adop\u00adment projects by transna\u00adtion\u00adal cor\u00adpo\u00adra\u00adtions and the pri\u00adva\u00adti\u00adza\u00adtion of pub\u00adlic assets. They scru\u00adti\u00adnize the con\u00adstruc\u00adtion of lux\u00adu\u00adry res\u00adi\u00adden\u00adtial prop\u00ader\u00adties or shop\u00adping cen\u00adters. Through their work, the group thus sup\u00adports a broad protest cul\u00adture that demands civ\u00adil soci\u00adety inclu\u00adsion in urban pol\u00adi\u00adcy events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
