This still rel\u00ada\u00adtive\u00adly young sport, whose main set\u00adtings were and are urban non-places, devel\u00adops new under\u00adstand\u00adings and oth\u00ader inter\u00adpre\u00adta\u00adtions of space. This world\u2014whether gigan\u00adtic infra\u00adstruc\u00adtures, side\u00adwalks, emp\u00adty swim\u00adming pools, enor\u00admous house-lined streets, tun\u00adnels, or oth\u00ader con\u00adcrete deserts of the mod\u00adern age\u2014is revealed by pho\u00adtog\u00adra\u00adph\u00ader and skater Rub\u00e9n Dario Kleimeer in his images. Kleimeer unlocks mul\u00adti-lay\u00adered mean\u00adings of space through the nav\u00adi\u00adga\u00adtion and appro\u00adpri\u00ada\u00adtion of built struc\u00adtures. In doing so, he is not look\u00ading for answers or solu\u00adtions to urban plan\u00adning or social prob\u00adlems.
