In the large-for\u00admat draw\u00adings of cities, she shows us what we expe\u00adri\u00adence when we walk over traf\u00adfic islands, through under\u00adpass\u00ades, and pas\u00adsages, or into the entrances of build\u00adings. The artist over\u00adlays the built space with appro\u00adpri\u00ada\u00adtions. She observes and walks through the space over and over again, col\u00adlect\u00ading and map\u00adping what she finds. This is also the case with her work <em>Kot\u00adti (revis\u00adit\u00aded)<\/em>. The many frag\u00adments lay\u00adered on top of each oth\u00ader tell sto\u00adries of a com\u00adplex space that proud\u00adly says: \u00bbI am city. I am nei\u00adther easy to under\u00adstand nor easy to plan. I will defend myself if you seek to ques\u00adtion my exis\u00adtence.\u00ab The big col\u00ador\u00adful pic\u00adture calls for plan\u00adning to take care of and work with lived space instead of against it.
