In this kick-off event of the Glob\u00adal Cen\u00adter of Spa\u00adtial Meth\u00adods for Urban Sus\u00adtain\u00adabil\u00adi\u00adty (SMUS), we will dis\u00adcuss the dif\u00adfer\u00adences between green\u00adwash\u00ading and root\u00aded sys\u00adtemic trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtion towards bet\u00adter-lived real\u00adi\u00adties, in light of the glob\u00adal imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion of the SDG#11 tar\u00adgets. Can SMUS push for this trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtive change with its glob\u00adal part\u00adners, by draw\u00ading atten\u00adtion away from met\u00adric indi\u00adca\u00adtors and towards adding more qual\u00adi\u00adta\u00adtive meth\u00adods for pro\u00adduc\u00ading dis\u00adag\u00adgre\u00adgat\u00aded data on inequal\u00adi\u00adty in all its forms and inter\u00adplays?
