Seit 2008 ist Dr. Michelle Provoost Direk­torin des Inter­na­tion­al New Town Insti­tute (INTI) in Almere in den Nieder­lan­den. Sie unter­richtet an ver­schiede­nen Uni­ver­sitäten in den Nieder­lan­den und im Aus­land und ist als öffentliche Red­ner­in nach wie vor sehr gefragt. Er pro­movierte in medi­zinis­ch­er Biotech­nolo­gie (Hein­rich-Heine-Uni­ver­sität Düsseldorf / TU Berlin) und machte seinen Post-Doc in Bio­physik in Mont­pel­li­er. She co-found­ed the office of Crim­son Archi­tec­tur­al His­to­ri­ans in 1994\, which has sub­se­quent­ly been engaged in a large num­ber of research and design projects in the fields of urban plan­ning\, archi­tec­ture\, and art. Since 2008\, Dr. Provoost has served as Direc­tor of the Inter­na­tion­al New Town Insti­tute (INTI) in Almere\, the Nether­lands. Dr. Provoost teach­es at var­i­ous uni­ver­si­ties in the Nether­lands and abroad and con­tin­ues to be in great demand as a pub­lic speak­er. She com­mit­ted to work­ing as an artist when her men­tor\, an anar­chist\, athe­ist law pro­fes­sor inter­vened\, encour­ag­ing her to pur­sue her love for the social sci­ences through her art. She is an activist and researcher\, cen­ter­ing inter­sec­tion­al anti-racist prac­tices in her work cre­at­ing cam­paigns\, par­tic­i­pa­to­ry and com­mu­ni­ty engaged art. Diana teach­es\, lec­tures\, writes and lead work­shops\, world­wide\, as part of her artis­tic prac­tice as well as focused on her exper­tise in activist art\, mul­ti-cross cul­tur­al rep­re­sen­ta­tion\, and race and gen­der bias in media\, art and tech. She’s fea­tured inter­na­tion­al­ly in film\, TV\, radio\, press and online about her work and cohosts the month­ly air­ing radio show about fight­ing the right wing around the world\, Like It Is on reboot.fm.
