Sta­tis­tics Choir was found­ed by song­writer and uncon­di­tion­al choir direc­tor Bernadette La Hengst. It wel­comes any­one in the neigh­bor­hood (or fur­ther-flung parts of Berlin) who likes to sing. The choir is an artis­tic medi­um that lit­er­al­ly gives voice to the process­es of change under­way at the Haus der Sta­tis­tik and offers a nov­el way to address urban issues such as rent rais­es and ten­ant dis­place­ment.
